(Going to in vacancy on Feb 13th 2016, could you be our new vicar?)
A short introductory interview with the next Archdeacon of Blackburn, Rev. Mark Ireland, in conversation with Ronnie Semley, Diocesan Communications Manager.
Mark is currently Vicar of All Saints Church in Wellington with St Catherine’s Church in Eyton, both in the Diocese of Lichfield. He takes over the role early in the new year following John Hawley, who has retired after 13 years in the role.
At All Saints We are a lively Anglican Church situated in the centre of the historic market town of Wellington, Telford. We have a variety of services and activities for all ages that take place throughout the week and hopefully this website will give you a taster of what is going on here. If you would like to find out more about anything that you see here you can contact the Parish Office or come along to one of our services, we’d love to get to know you!
Our main Sunday services are at 10:30am in the morning, and 6:30pm in the evening with extra services from time to time. We also have a Wednesday lunchtime communion service at 12:30pm, which lasts about half an hour and a Toddler Praise service that meets every other week on a Friday for an hour or so in church for pre-school age children.
You are very welcome to join us for any of these services call us at the office to find out more.
Alternatively St Catherine’s church Eyton offers a quiet and traditional atmosphere using the ‘Book of Common Prayer’ every Sunday morning.
