All Saints is a lively and busy Church that provides a range of events, groups and services throughout the week. We are so very grateful to all of our teams of volunteers, and helpers without whom we could not provide such a wide variety of events and activities for you. We have a wide range of groups and activities that meet throughout the week at All Saints, details of some of these are below.
Bellringing All Saints has a fledgeling bellringing team which practices regularly. They started ringing again on Sunday mornings in September 2010 and are still looking for more ringers. For more details please contact Colin Jones via the Parish Office
Ballroom & Latin lessons Do you have two left feet? Or maybe you fancy your chances on Strictly Come Dancing? Learn your Latin and buff up your Ballroom with friendly and experienced instructors. Bring a partner on Thursday evenings to the Parish Centre at 7:30pm for beginners (£5 pp for the first hour), or 8:30pm for advanced lessons (additional £3.50 pp). Private tuition also available. Causeway Prospects This is a fortnightly meeting for adults with learning difficulties. We have a varied programme with appropriate worship, teaching and activities. For more information contact Terry Merchant via the office. The Causeway Prospects national website can be found here.
Home Groups We have a number of home groups that meet around the town throughout the week. If you would like to join a home group please speak to Revd. Tim Carter or to the office (01952) 248 554
Mothers Union: All Saints has its own branch of the Mothers Union with over 50 members of all ages who meet on Monday or Tuesday evenings or Saturday mornings. Dates will be available here soon. Mothers’ Union is a worldwide Christian organisation which supports marriage and family life. For more information about the Mothers Union see their website
Oasis: Running from September to May, ‘Oasis’ is our monthly luncheon club for the over 60’s with worship and a speaker. For more details about the next meeting in April 2015 please contact the Parish Centre
On Good Friday there will be an easy 1– 3 mile walk around the parish after the Ecumenical Act of Witness in the Town Square at noon. Please bring a packed lunch which we will eat in the Parish Centre before we start (drinks provided). Please also bring diaries and suggestions so that we can plan a varied programme of walks for the summer. The walk will end with tea and cake at the house of Barry and Rita Church. If you can’t make Good Friday but would like to be involved in the Walking Group please contact Barry at the Parish Office
