Children’s groups

scramblers Jesus takes children seriously. He was furious when his disciples tried to stop the children coming to him for a blessing. He tells us we all need to become like little children to enter the Kingdom of heaven.  So All Saints tries very hard to provide an environment where our children can meet with Jesus and learn more about the Christian faith and can worship together in a way which is relevant and helpful for them at their particular stage in life, in a relaxed and enjoyable manner. On special Christian Festivals and once every month we all worship together in church. During the rest of our Sunday morning services we have a range of age-related groups that meet in the newly refurbished Parish Centre on Lychgate Walk:
Crèche  0 – 3’s.
Scramblers  3 – 5’s
Climbers 5 – 7’s.
Explorers 7 – 11′s.
Pathfinders 11 – 14′s.

During term-time we do ‘Messy Church’ in two local Primary schools – Wrekin View, Wellington and ‘Fun Church’ at St Peter’s, Bratton - where children and adults together can explore the Bible through crafts, songs and story-telling, ending our time with a simple shared meal where we can chat and get to know each other.  At the moment these run from 3:30-5pm monthly on Mondays – check with the schools or Parish Office for dates.
